In a new world where the wolves are entirely human, Blue has recently moved from the country to San Francisco, the city where Kiba and the others now reside.

โ˜ฝ Background โ˜พ

Born in a small, Christian-heavy, and diverse township in southwest Michigan, Blue grew up in a mixed-race household with her parents and two younger siblings. The family home resided on the more rural part of town, a big chunk of their land surrounded by woods.Well-behaved enough to not be dubbed disrespectful hellions, the former wolf, along with her brother and sister, were actively adventurous and outdoorsy. Despite living in an admittedly cramped living space, and barely scraping by financially, the family lived a simple and content life in the country.Aside from Blue's paternal uncle, Quent, her childhood was largely devoid of experiences with what little extended family remained in the state. And those who hadn't moved away declined to visit out of disapproval toward the marriage of her mother and father. This lack of relationships between relatives only served further Blue's attachment to her uncle. A misfortune, as he didn't come around often. Usually too drunk to drive, his alcoholism deprived his family of his presance. Especially during holidays, when his drinking was at its worst. It saddened Blue, being unable to truly comprehend the despair Quent felt until she was much older.

Life commenced normally as Blue aged, unburdened by extensive tragedy and hardship. Something that changed after Blue'd freshly turned sixteen. The howling of sirens pierced the air, mixing with the screaming wind in a cacophony she'll never forget. Even so late into September, the weather had been sporadic and severe, creating the needed conditions for an EF-3 tornado to touch down. The family did what they were supposed to. They took every precaution. But it didn't matter. In the chaos, part of the house collapsed into the basement, killing their parents almost in an instant, as well as severely injuring their second oldest child, Nyla.Only twenty minutes after the tornado passed over them, Quent arrived in his pickup truck to assess the damage and check for survivors, only to find the orphaned children scrabbling out of the wreckage. He wasted no time in getting them out of there, driving them all to the nearest hospital in a haze of dread. But where Blue and her brother, Orrick, escaped with a mix of minor cuts, bruises, and broken bones, Nyla would succumb to her wounds. Laying in the back seat of Quent's truck, she died in Blue's arms. After the disaster, Blue and Orrick were taken in by their uncle, having no other relatives willing to claim them. The day of the funeral was the turning point for the deceased couple's eldest. Seeing so-called 'family' pile into the wake like ants swarming a bird carcass, a swell of rage and dismay swirled inside her like the twister that'd killed her three loved ones. And every ingenuine, cookie-cutter comment or utterance of condolence just made it worse.Blue left the viewing that day with a new fire. She was going to make something of herself. Going to shoot higher than all the closed-minded relatives that looked down on her and her immediate kin their entire lives. And in the following years, through headache and heartache, she blazed her own path to success, Quent being there for her the whole way.

โ˜ฝ A Fresh Start โ˜พ

Now twenty-five, the young woman chose to aim for a change of pace after earning her bachelor's degree. In deciding to leave her hometown, an inescapable draw directed her to San Francisco, California.Following much convincing, job and apartment hunting, and a fuckton of money, Blue was on her way.Blue resides in a relatively nice, three-level, Victorian-style apartment building in a middle-class part of town. Robin's egg blue with white trim, the exterior is accented beautifully with curved bay windows on the residence's right side. She lives on the top level, sharing the rental property with two other tenants who live on the floors below. They're all cordial and considerate enough toward one another, but mutually refrain from becoming friends.Renewed with fresh paint and brand new furniture, her apartment and its dรฉcor are largely comprised of white and varying shades of blue.Much of Blue's things are ocean-themed, reflecting her love for marine life, as well as hinting at her main job. As someone who adores sharks, sea turtles, axolotls, and jellyfish, Blue has quite a few knickknacks, paintings, and other items featuring them scattered across her living space. She keeps her apartment pristine, setting aside an entire day for cleaning and errands in order to ensure everything stays that way.Blue lives alone... well, apart from the aquatic pets she keeps. She has three fish tanks, two saltwater, one freshwater. She also owns an axolotl. They are the only real company she's got, as she chooses to avoid socializing beyond what's necessary for work.Having already received her bachelor's degree in marine biology, Blue took up her day job at the cityโ€™s aquarium, studying and attending to the welfare of marine animals. She is planning to continue her studies once she saves up enough money, and has a better handle on her availability. Her second job is overseeing, hosting, and singing at a newly opened, somewhat fancy restaurant during nights. She has recently been promoted to shift supervisor, after expressing a desire for more responsibilities and hours. The place is only a few blocks from her apartment, which is a convenience she values greatly.Managing two jobs, she, on average, works sixty hours a week. She is a busy, hard-working woman with a tight schedule to keep, and God help anything that throws her off track.

โ˜ฝ Discrepencies โ˜พ

Blue doesn't remember a thing from her former lives. Not events. Not people. Nothing.Although, encounters with anyone or anything originating from the anime/manga will greet her with a gripping, unignorable sense of dรฉjร  vu.

Quent, his wife, and their son are all elements in this iteration. Ruus and his mother are far less present, however, due to their mysterious disappearance when Blue was much, much younger. As opposed to my usual portrayal, where Blue only vaguely recalls Quent through negative and fuzzy snippets of memory, she has a very strong uncle-niece relationship with him here.

Here, Blue is much more assertive and intolerant of bullshit. While neither portrayal is willing to be pushed around, this iteration is highly assertive, independent, and serious. But she is noticeably lenient and caring toward those who've worked their way into her heart.

While my Main Portrayal of Blue is an alcoholic, this version is not. She still drinks on occasion, but never to the point of becoming drunk.

This Blue has never been in a romantic or sexual relationship. Additionally, her time-consuming lifestyle makes it exceptionally harder for her to pursue either.

Both of my versions carry a pistol. In this one, however, Blue is far more skilled with guns.Having grown up hunting and target shooting with her father and Quent (whenever he was sober enough), Blue is very comfortable around firearms. Even as an adult, she visits the range monthly, and has a CCW license.
